The change I desperately needed
Sally Sidani – Health Coach Graduate
Becoming a Health Coach has not only given me a new career I’m passionate about but it’s also enabled me to improve my health.
What did you do before studying at CNM?
Prior to studying at CNM, I worked in corporate marketing and had a business background of 20+ years. It was a fast-paced lifestyle, working long hours and travelling abroad most weeks. I loved it at the time but it wasn’t sustainable long term. During the pandemic, I decided to change my career to another field I’m passionate about and retrained as a Health Coach.
What made you want to become a Health Coach?
I had been struggling with gut health problems for several years and finally took the decision to see a naturopathic nutritionist. After changing my diet and lifestyle and taking natural supplements, I quickly saw a huge improvement and I’ve never felt better! In parallel, many of my friends and I started experiencing perimenopause symptoms and weren’t sure how to manage them. It was at this point I decided that I wanted a career in natural health to improve my own health for the future as well as help my friends, family and others to achieve a healthy balanced life.
What attracted you to the Health Coach course?
The CNM online Health Coach course allowed me to study from home with flexible hours during the pandemic. It offers a wide breadth of education from the basics of anatomy, nutrition and fitness to practical advice on how to become a coach and start your own business.
What did you enjoy most about the CNM Health Coach Training?
I enjoyed the engaging video content the course provided. The lectures were interesting, informative and explained complex topics in an easy-to-understand format. I really appreciated the practical coaching case studies which gave me good experience for when I graduated and started my own business.
How has studying for the Health Coach diploma changed your life?
The Health Coach training from CNM has completely changed my life. I’ve always been passionate about food and fitness so to combine these with a career is a joy. The diploma has allowed me to set up my own business (which has always been my life goal) and allows me to work in a flexible way. It’s given me the knowledge and motivation to improve my own health as well as those around me.
What are you doing now that you are qualified?
I now run my own Health Coaching business ‘Re-Balance by Sally’ specialising in perimenopause and menopause. I use my skills learnt on the Health Coach course to support and empower women in midlife to feel their best again. I take a natural holistic approach to help them improve their whole health and their menopause. It’s so rewarding to see the transformation clients can make after just a few health coaching sessions. My website is www.rebalancebysally.com.
What do you love about being a Health Coach?
I love seeing my clients blossom as they begin to implement new healthy habits and start to see results. Not only do they feel healthier, their confidence and self-esteem grow too. I love to watch this transformation and celebrate their achievements with them.
