Resisting Everything.

What we resist persists.Why is it that when we don’t want something, it tends to follow us through life? Unless we resist negativity, how can we change it? We think that by resisting what we don’t want, we make it go away. In many cases, it is only by giving up our resistance that we are free to create what we want. Most of those reading this article are interested in improving health or losing weight or trying not to put weight on. When we resist the desire for dessert, we just want it even more. When we resist looking after ourselves, we seem to get a whole lot worse health wise and negative about caring for our health.                                                                                                                 Through resistance, we deny the power within us that can attract what we want. Yes we are drawn to what we don’t want because we are focusing on it. That weakens our power to get what we do want. How do we feel confident that we can manifest our desires when we are focusing on what we do not want. If we want inner love, peace and personal power, we have to focus on having those things within ourselves, instead of looking for them outside of ourselves. Our power to create our future depends on our attitude. Instead of resisting, feel and release those negative emotions and then focus on what you do want. Write those negative emotions down and then do EFT/Tapping while focused on releasing them. Next do EFT while focused on achieving or having already achieved your goals. These points are useful for letting go of attitudes, hurts, belief systems and any other negative self sabotage programs that you are determined to be done with. They also help create new neural pathways in the brain, in other words new beliefs, new inspiration, new enthusiasm and your new reality. All it takes is the time you spend tapping. How else can you hope to improve your health and lifestyle so effectively?Out with the old and in with the new is what we embrace over new year. Start now. Let go of any blocks or negative attitudes. Let every day be ‘new years day’.                           GIVING UP RESISTANCE:                                                              Our human egos like to collect evidence that we are powerless, thereby disconnecting with our creative potential. Our thinking and what we focus on and say aloud is far more powerful than most people understand. 90% of what gets done in life is caused by thinking and self talk. The other 10% is the action we take as a result of our internal projections. There are parts of us that do not yet believe in our power and they choose to feel helpless and hopeless. We can choose to fill ourselves with trust, hope and confidence. If hopelessness begins to win out over our inner confidence, we begin to become cynical and resist our own growth. We see doors close before us instead of seeing them opening. Instead of celebrating what we have and working to get what we want, we waste our power resisting what is actually happening and to make things worse we allow negative thoughts about the future to consume us. When we resist a person, situation, or project we waste and leak a lot of our personal energy. We waste energy wishing things were not how they are. Meanwhile things are as they are and may well change if we project our energy into the situation in a clear calm manner. We waste energy wishing others were behaving differently. They are just as they are for now. Do not focus on what you do not want. That will tend to manifest or grow stronger. Do not ponder for long on the past and how things did not work out. Learn from the results of past strategy by all means. It is vital to focus on what we do want and call to mind the feelings of past success to create more success in the future. Why? Because what you put your attention on in your life just increases. When you resist something, you continue to create it because you are  believing that it will not go away. It is not wise to resist your illness or overeating or feel burdened by it. Instead “Be Assured” that your health or your self discipline are improving ! What will that feel like?                                   To achieve success we need to give up resistance. At first this involves setting your intentions clearly in mind once or twice a day. When you put in your request and things begin happening, do get very excited as you comprehend and feel your inner power to attract/create results in your life. Invite success in. Invite big and small miracles into your life. It is either that or resist the things you do not want to happen. It is not possible to do both at the same time. When we resist we will attract more opportunities to resist. When we focus our attention on not wanting to wait for example, more waiting seems to be what we attract.                                                                              SUMMARY.                                                                                            When you resist, you are reinforcing the belief that you can’t get what you want.                                                                 Focus on that and you will only attract what you do not want.                                                                                                      What you put your attention on in life just increases.          What we believe is what we create. Detoxify old belief systems in order to experience positive change.                     The process of writing down what you feel and then tapping on it is a powerful tool for letting go of old patterns of thought. Follow that up with the process of installing the thoughts and feelings of what you do want and expect using writing and tapping. This is rewiring your brain consciously. Repeating this is way more positive than being a helpless victim of your past. It is just like installing a new program in your computer in many ways. If you want new possibilities, install new software. It does take repetition. Do what it takes. You will notice when you have a new mindset!
